Detail Itinerary

Day 01:Arrives in Kathmandu (1350m/ 4429ft) and transfers to the hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by the representative from Rising Adventure at the arrival gate and transferred to hotel.

Accommodation: Three Star Hotel in Kathmandu

Day 02:Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation. Overnight in KathmanduThis is your day for sightseeing. So, you are picked up by your tour guide from your hotel. Basically, Kathmandu Sightseeing involves the four UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu. They are Kathmandu Darbar Square, Swayabhunath Stupa, Boudhnath Stupa and the Pashupatinath Temple. However, we also organize other sightseeing tours nearby Kathmandu in accordance with your desires like Patan and Bhaktapur Darbar Squares those too are enlisted in UNESCO.
At last, we involve in trekking preparation and introduce you to our trekking guide.

Day 03:Fly to Lukla (2800m/ 9186 ft), 35 min and trek to Phakding (2652m/ 8700ft), 3-4 hrs. Overnight in Phakding In the early morning, you will have almost 35 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla which lies at about (2800m/ 9186 ft) in the Khumbu region of Eastern part of Nepal. While in the aeroplane you can have the great views of the mountains and river valleys. After the arrival at Lukla, our guide will introduce with the porter if you want to have or if your package includes.Then, your trek embarks on to Phkding at almost (2652m/ 8700ft).

Day 04:Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/ 11286 ft), 6-7 hrs. Overnight in Namche On this day,you continue trek for almost 7/8 hour until you won’t reach to the Namche bazaar which is taken as the Gateway to Everest. While trekking, you will go on through the breathtaking views such as blue pine forests, firs, junipers and other beautiful sceneries.

Day 05:Rest in Namche Bazaar- Acclimatization dayYou will spend a day here in order to have rest as well as acclimatize. You can pass your day by exploring the local culture of Namche. You can also visit the museum which describes the traditional customs of the Sherpa and you have an opportunity to visit the highest hotel of the world names as Everest View Hotel.

Day 06:Trek to Tengboche (3860m/ 12664 ft), 5-6 hrs. Overnight in Tengboche Your trek will go ahead from Namche to Tengboche along the magnificent views of the varieties of mountains. After reaching in Tengboche, you can observe the lifestyle of local Sherpas as well as their monastries.

Day 07:Trek to Dingboche (4410m/ 14468 ft), 6-7 hrs. Overnight in Dingboche From Tengboche, you will trek down to Dibuche, crossing the exciting suspension bridge on the Imja River. After then, you will climb to Pangboche amongst thousands of mani stones and your trek will take you to the Dingbuche through its astonishing views of Lhotse, Island Peak and Ama Dablam.

Day 08:Rest in Dingboche- Acclimatization dayToday you are going to spend a whole day in Dingboche. However, you can go for a hike to Chhukung or to Nagarjun hill. If you want to go to Chhukung, it takes almost 4 hours to reach there. From there you will see the stunning views of snow capped peaks as well as glacier. After spending sometime there, you will come back to Dingboche following the previous route.On the other hand, again it takes almost 4 hours to go to Nagarjun Hill.

Day 09:Trek to Lobuche (4920m/ 16142 ft), 5-6 hrs. Overnight in LobucheOn this day, you will go up to the Khumbu Glacier and pass the row of stone monument that was built in the memory of six Sherpas who died in an avalanche at Lobuche. The place Lobuche has only few huts at the foot of Himalayan giants.

Day 10:Trek to Gorakshep (5130m/ 16831 ft), 3-4 hrs and hike to Everest Base Camp (5340m/ 17520 ft), 4-5 hrs. Overnight in GorkshepThis is the difficult and the most memorable day of this trek. You will walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp at 5340 meter without using the mountaineering equipments. From the Base Camp, you can have the spectacular scenic beauty of the Khumbu Icefall. After then you will return to Gorakh Shep for the night.

Day 11:Hike to Kalapattar (5555m/ 18225 ft), 3 hrs and trek to Pheriche (4210m/ 13812 ft), 5-6 hrs. Overnight in Pheriche This is the toughest day of the trekking. Your trail will begin early in the morning for going to a hike to Kalapathar. So, you will ascend steeply to Kalapathar. After reaching there you will enjoy the incredible views o f the towering Himalayas such as the Mt. Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse and so on. You will descend to Gorak Shep following the same route. After having a breakfast there, your trail will continue to Pheriche.

Day 12:Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/ 11286 ft), 6-7 hrs. Overnight in Namche On this day, after having breakfast, you will descend to Pangboche to Dibuche to Tengboche, where you will enjoy the lunch. Afterwards, your trek will be continued to Namche Bazaar.

Day 13:Trek to Lukla (2800m/ 9186 ft), 6-7 hrs. Overnight in Lukla Your trail will continue to Lukla passing Phakding following the previous route.

Day 14:Fly back to Kathmandu, 35 min. Overnight in Kathmandu You will have a flight early in the morning to Kathmandu following the previous airways. After your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 15:Departure from Kathmandu Today your trip in Nepal comes to an end and the representative from Rising Adventure will take you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight.

During the trip, some factors beyond our control may affect and cause to change our itinerary such as weather condition, transportation, health condition of our clients and other natural disasters. At this moment, our company gives full authority to our guides for deciding what to do or not to do concerning on the interest of our clients.

While talking about the flight, sometimes it may delay due to the weather condition or the technical problem especially to go to Lukla from Kathmandu. At this time, Rising Adventure can charter either Helicopter or Twin Otter as per the demand of our clients.

We can also customize this trip for a single too according to their requirements.

Note: For the single supplementary, it costs USD 150 extra.

Travel Insurance:

Travel Insurance is compulsory for joining Rising Adventure’s activities. We require your travel insurance must cover the emergency accidents (includes helicopter rescue and air ambulance) with medical expenses and others like cancellation, personal liable, loss of luggage and so on. It helps you to travel freely and confidently. Please be noted that we do not arrange and sell insurance.

Accommodation:

You will be stayed at 3-star hotel whenever you are in Kathmandu during your trip. While doing trekking in the Everest Region, you will be spent your nights at tea houses. If single rooms are available there in mountain, they will be provided and If not, it is needed to spend the nights with twin sharing basis.

Foods:

During your trip in Everest Region, you will be provided only breakfast by the hotel of Kathmandu wherever you stay. Rising Adventure also invites you to have either lunch or dinner in your arrival or farewell by managing the time. But during your trekking, you will be had breakfast and dinner on basis of menu of local  tea houses or lodges wherever you spend your nights and your lunch will be provided on the way of your walking. You will taste Nepalese food in most of the places in trekking period, however, there are some tea houses which provide some international food like Chinese, Indian, Continental, Tibetan and so on.

Acclimatization:

The itineraries of Rising Adventure are designed with preventive method especially for AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). We know that AMS occurs while in higher elevation which may cause to kill. So, our company has been organizing the trips in any Himalayan region of Nepal with paying serious attention to AMS. Our pivotal priority always goes to Safety and Security. In addition, all the guides and porters of our company are the trainer of First-Aid. However, we always advices our clients to consult with doctor and be the fit and fine before planning to do any adventurous activities in the higher elevation area whether i.e. in Himalayan region or in hilly region.

Porter Rights:

We believe on “behind every successful man there is a woman”. So, Rising Adventure is also the outcome of our hard worker staffs especially the porters. Rising Adventure wants to make you sure that all the porters of our company are strong physically, behave friendly and speak a lit bit English as well as carry your backpacks very safely. So, Rising Adventure also pays the serious attention towards them. We treat them as equally as our other staffs like guides and office staffs. We even do the insurance of porters while they engage in any types of adventurous activities and also rescue them by providing Helicopter on our own expense whenever they are in dangerous condition. In addition, we have mentioned some rules too in the favour of porters like the weight of one luggage should be up to 20 kg, one porter is only for two travelers and so on.

Health & Experience Requirements:

Trekking in Everest Region is not too risky. You will have almost 6 hours walking during the trek. So, it is better to have past experiences either of hiking or of short days trekking in the higher elevation because you need to walk more times in higher elevation while trekking in this area. However, it is not mandatory to have such experiences, but you need to be fit and fine physically as well as mentally and no any technical skills are required to trek in Everest Region. Anyway, Rising Adventure believes in that if anyone has the strong intention to do something, s/he will be successful definitely due to his/her courageous will. In addition, Rising Adventure strongly advises you to have the regular exercises like jogging, walking, running, etc even for some periods of time before going to trekking because we agree that such types of exercise also helps to do trekking very easily in the higher elevation. At last we advise you to consult with doctor before heading to do any kinds of adventure activities.

Safety and Security:

Safety and Security of the travelers are essential during the trip. It is more important in the adventure activities as trekking, rafting, Jungle Safari, Bungee and other activities. For example you may have valuable things like money, passport, tickets, etc. So, you can use money belt and neck wallet for securing those things.

Best Seasons:

Trekking in Everest Region is very best in autumn as well as in spring seasons. So, it is crowded in these both seasons. If anyone prefers to have trekking in less crowded time for enjoying much, s/he can plan for trekking in winter in this area, though, it is cold. Although, it is quite boring to trek in the higher elevation in summer and monsoon seasons due to rainy times, some rain lovers can make a plan to trek even in these seasons because it is also the distinctive experience and you may enjoy this trekking with wet.
