Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be picked up by our representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu Sightseeing
After having your breakfast, you will be received by our guide with a private car from your hotel and your sightseeing activity starts from the Kathmandu Durbar Square which is full of ancient temples, art and architecture and so on. Then you have the 10 minutes drive to Swayambhunath Stupa on top of the Hill. Our guide tells you about the history of this stupa which is also known as Monkey Temple as there is a lot of monkey roaming here and there. From there, the car takes you to Pashupatinath Temple. It is the most beautiful and the biggest temple of Nepalese Hindu People. Many Hindus even from India come to visit it every year. Maha Shivaratri is the greatest festival which is celebrated amazingly with more than one lakh pilgrims in the temple. Our final destination is the Boudhanath Stupa, the largest Tibetan Stupa where you can see the live thangka manufacturing process and other things too.
Day 03 : Flight to Paro and drive to Thimpu
Today you are going to have a flight from Kathmandu to Paro along with the mountain views. Upon your arrival at Paro Airport, one of our representatives picks you up and transfers to the hotel of Thimphu after having almost 2 hours of drive. Thimphu is a capital city of Bhutan where the many gorgeous tourist destinations are waiting for your arrival. After having lunch, your sightseeing starts with our guide who takes you to the traditional weaving center i.e. Gagyel Lhendup and other places too. In the evening you can uncover the beauty of Thimphu Street without the traffic light.
Day 04 : Thimpu Sightseeing
This is the second day of your Bhutan trip which you are going to spend on the sightseeing again in Thimphu. After having your breakfast, your day begins with a pleasant walk along the paddy fields, woodlands, and the Tibetan Village. Then the continuation of your walking takes you at the beautiful and the oldest Pangri Zampa Monastery built in the 17th century. After visiting it, you have to drive back to Thimphu for sightseeing. So, you have a visit to Late King’s Memorial Chorten, National Library, and Painting School as well. The Thimphu Handicraft Emporium is amazing which offers high-quality traditional goods.
Day 05 : Drive to Punakha
Today your trip drives to the ancient winter capital city known as Punakha. It takes approximately 4 hours to reach there. On the way, you enjoy the mountain views like Gangkar Punsum and the Bhutan’s highest mountain, etc from the Dochu-La Pass with the altitude of 3,048 m. You have a short walk too to Chimi Lhakhang. It is an ancient temple built in the late 15th century. Basically, the temple is visited by the barren women for getting the blessing.
Day 06 : Punakha Sightseeing
Today you have a visit to the most beautiful Dzong of Bhutan, known as Punakha Dzong with three towers at the confluence of Pho Chu and Mo Chu Rivers. After having lunch, you have a choice to spend your remaining time either by resting or visiting the surrounding or also by going to an hour hike to the Khamsum Yulley Monastery for the best views.
Day 07 : Drive back to Paro
Today you are returning back to Paro by retracing the previous roadways i.e. over the Dochu-La Pass to Thimphu and then to Paru. En route, you can enjoy the views, though, those were seen already.
Day 08 : Tiger's Nest Hiking
After having early morning breakfast, you have a drive to Ramthangkha, a hiking starting point. From there, your hiking embarks on continuously till to the Tiger’s Nest with an altitude of 3,120 m above the sea level. It is an awe-inspiring monastery clinging on a rock cliff 900 meters above the Valley. After an hour of walking, you encounter the small teahouse where you can enjoy your lunch in front of the majestic views of the temple. You can get the small Chhorten always after walking almost an hour from one direction to another. It is a beautiful walking of approximately 6 hours. But you have a choice whether to have a longer walk or the shortest one. However, you get the car at last and drive back to Paro.
Day 09 : Fly back to Kathmandu
This is the last day of your Bhutan trip. So you will be dropped to the Airport by our staff and have a flight to Kathmandu through the mountain vistas. After reaching in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the hotel.
Day 10 : Final Departure
This is your final day of the trip as you are going back to your hometown. So, one of our staff drops you at the International Airport 3 hours before your flight time.
