Everest Base Camp 12 days itinerary is the shortest Everest trek itinerary in the Khumbu region of Nepal. The Sherpa culture, their monasteries like Tengboche and the Mt. Everest ranges are the typical features of EBC trek.

  • Day 01 : Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu (35 min) and trek to Phakding (3-4 hrs)

    Today morning, you have practically 30 minutes beautiful trip to Lukla. While on the plane, you appreciate the perspectives of mountains and sloping territories. Upon your arrival at Lukla, your trek starts. It takes around 4 hours to reach Phakding. You trek along the declining way right to Phakding. Nonetheless, you appreciate the mountain views as well.

  • Day 02 : Namche Bazaar Trek from Phakding(6-7 hrs walking)

    The trek takes you to the beautiful spot that is known for Sherpa people around there, for instance, Namche Bazaar. After eating lunch, your trek continues through the pine forest and crosses the Dudh Koshi River. Then, you go into the Sagarmatha National Park. From there, you pass some towns by crossing and walking around the suspension bridge and the Dudh Koshi and the Bhote Koshi Rivers. Finally, you are vivaciously welcomed by the living plan of Namche before the Himalayan views.

  • Day 03 : Acclimatization Day

    This is the rest day at Namache Bazaar. You can experience day by wandering around it and explore the Sherpa culture. You can have a hike to the Everest View Hotel and appreciate the views of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and others.

  • Day 04 : Tengboche Trek (5-6 hrs walking)

    Today, the path takes you to Tengboche where you can visit the wonderful Tengboche Monastery. It is the biggest religious monastery of the Khumbu area. While plunging along the Dudhkoshi river, you can see the lovely pinnacles of mountains. Then again, you can appreciate the smell of greenery during rising up. Finally, the path comes to Tengboche.

  • Day 05 : From Tengboche to Dingboche Trek (6-7 hrs walking)

    From Tengboche, you will descend to Dibuche, crossing the energizing suspension bridge on the Imja River. After at that point, you will move to Pangboche among a great many mani stones and your trek will take you to the Dingbuche through its stunning views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam.

  • Day 06 : Acclimatization Day

    Today you will go through an entire day in Dingboche. You can also go for a climb to Chhukung or to Nagarjun slope. If you wish, you can go to Chhukung, it takes very nearly 4 hours to reach there. From that point, you will see the staggering perspectives on snow-topped mountains and the glacier. After investing some energy there, you will return to Dingboche following the past course. Then again, again it takes just about 4 hours to go to Nagarjun Hill.

  • Day 07 : Trekking to Lobuche from Dingboche (5-6 hrs walking)

    The path of today goes up steadily to the Khumbu icy mass and moraine. It offers perspectives on a few pinnacles like Mahalangur Himal, Pumori, etc. At that point, the path turns into somewhat simpler and comes to Lobuche.

  • Day 08 : Trek to Gorakshep via Everest Base Camp (5340 m)

    This is the difficult and the most memorable day of this trek. You will walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp at 5340 meters without using the mountaineering equipments. From the Base Camp, you can have the spectacular scenic beauty of the Khumbu Icefall. After then you will return to Gorakh Shep for the night.

  • Day 09 : Trek to Kalapatthar (5555 m/ 3 hrs walking) and trek back to Pheriche (5-6 hrs walking)

    This is the hardest day of the trekking. Your path will start promptly in the first part of the day for heading off to a climb to Kalapathar. Thus, you will climb steeply to Kalapathar. You will appreciate the mind-blowing perspectives on the transcending Himalayas after reaching there, for example, the Mt. Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse, etc. You will come down to Gorak Shep following a similar course. Then your path will keep on Pheriche after finishing the breakfast.

  • Day 10 : Trekking back to Namche Bazaar (5-6 hrs walking)

    Today you are returning to Namche Bazaar. So, your path follows the past after coming to Pangboche town. You reach there by plunging through the woodland and furthermore cross the bridge at the Imja River.
