Day 01 : Arrives in Kathmandu and transfers to the hotel
Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by the representative from Rising Adventure at the arrival gate and transferred to hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
This is your day for sightseeing. So, you are picked up by your tour guide from your hotel. Basically, Kathmandu Sightseeing involves the four UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu. They are Kathmandu Darbar Square, Swayabhunath Stupa, Boudhnath Stupa and the Pashupatinath Temple. However, we also organize other sightseeing tours nearby Kathmandu in accordance with your desires like Patan and Bhaktapur Darbar Squares those too are enlisted in UNESCO.
In the evening, Rising Adventure will discuss about your trip and introduce our trekking guide as well as other members.
Day 03 : Fly to Lukla (35 min) and trek to Phakding (4 hours trek)
In the early morning, you will have almost 35 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla which lies at about 2800 m in the Khumbu region of Eastern part of Nepal. While in the aeroplane you can have the great views of the mountains and river valleys. After the arrival at Lukla, our guide will introduce with the porter if you want to have or if your package includes.Then, your trek embarks on to Phkding at almost 2652 m.
Day 04 : Phakding to Namche Bazaar (6-7 hours trek)
On this day, you will continue your trek for almost 7 hour until you won’t reach to the Namche bazaar which is taken as the Gateway to Everest. While trekking, you will go on through the breathtaking views such as blue pine forests, firs, junipers and other beautiful sceneries.
Day 05 : Rest at Namche Bazaar
You will spend a day here in order to have rest as well as acclimatize. You can pass your day by exploring the local culture of Namche. You can also visit the museum which describes the traditional customs of the Sherpa and you have an opportunity to visit the highest hotel of the world names as Everest View Hotel.
Day 06 : Namche Bazzar to Tengboche (5-6 hours trek)
Your trek will go ahead from Namche to Tengboche along the magnificent views of the varieties of mountains. After reaching in Tengboche, you can observe the lifestyle of local Sherpas as well as their monasteries.
Day 07 : Tengboche to Dingboche (6-7 hours trek)
From Tengboche, you will trek down to Dibuche, crossing the exciting suspension bridge on the Imja River. After then, you will climb to Pangboche amongst thousands of mani stones and your trek will take you to the Dingbuche through its astonishing views of Lhotse, Island Peak and Ama Dablam.
Day 08 : Dingboche to Chhukung (3-4 hours trek)
Your trail will go ahead through the Imja Khola valley. En route, you will see the stunning views of Mt. Lhotse and Ama Dablam. Then the continuation of your trekking will take you to Chhukung through the place known as Bibre.
Day 09 : Rest at Chhukung
This is your another acclimatization day in Chhukung which offers the stunning views of Himalayas ranges including Island Peak. So, today you may go up to Chhukung Ri or Base Camp of Island Peak in order to grasp these views from closer.
Day 10 : Chhukung to Lobuche (6-7 hr walk) via Kongma La Pass (5535 m)
Today you have two options to go to Kongma La Pass either by climbing over the hills or by returning to Bibre and take another route. Anyway, while going through the Bibre, you will retrace the way at first. After reaching there, you will ascend to Niyang Khola which offers the pleasant scenery of Amphu Lapcha as well as Island Peak. Finally, you will reach at Kongma La Pass where you encounter the prayer flags wrapped in cairn, marks of the pass and so on. You can also see the icy lakes as well as the Khumbu Glacier. Then the continuation of your descending will take you to Lobuche. But it is a lit bit hard to descend.
Besides this route, you can go to Lobuche directly by not going to Kangma La Pass. However, the choice is yours.
Day 11 : Lobuche to Gorakshep (4 hours trek) to Everest Base Camp (5364 m/ 5-6 hours hike)
This is the difficult and the most memorable day of this trek. You will walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp at 5340 meter without using the mountaineering equipments. From the Base Camp, you can have the spectacular scenic beauty of the Khumbu Icefall as well as the mountains like Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori. After then you will return to Gorakh Shep for the night.
Day 12 : Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5555 m/ 3-4 hours hike) to Lobuche (3 hours trek)
This is the toughest day of the trekking. Your trail will begin early in the morning for going to a hike to Kalapathar. So, you will ascend steeply to Kalapathar. After reaching there you will enjoy the incredible views o f the towering Himalayas such as the Mt. Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse and so on. You will descend to Gorak Shep following the same route. After having breakfast, you will retrace the previous route to Lobuche.
Day 13 : Lobuche to Dzongla (4-5 hours trek)
Today your trail may be shorter than other days. You will reach at Dzongla through the ascending and descending way. En route, you can see the wonderful sceneries of mountains as well as the Pheriche village. Finally, you will reach Dzongla by crossing the bridge. In Dzongla, there are few local houses only where you are going to spend a night.
Day 14 : Dzongla to Gokyo (7-8 hr walk) via Cho La Pass (5368 m) and Thangnak (4680 m)
This is another toughest day of your trekking because you are going to walk along the rocky, slippery and icy trail. So, today your trail will start a little bit early while comparing to the previous trails. First of all you will reach to Cho la Pass at almost 5363m which offers you the stunning views of Cho La Lake and Mt. Cholatse. Then you will descend to Thangnak where you can see the Ngozumpa glacier, the second of Gokyo lakes and other mountains too. Eventually, you will reach at Gokyo.
Day 15 : Rest at Gokyo and hike to Gokyo Ri (5360 m/4-5 hours hike)
This is another day for acclimatization. So, you will spend your whole day in exploring the Gokyo Valley. Besides, you will have a hike to Gokyo Ri. So, you will hike a very early in the morning. You will ascend to Gokyo Ri and reach within almost 3 hours. After reaching there, you will see the exotic views of the four highest peaks of Nepal out of seven such as Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Cho Oyu. As a result, you may find yourself very close to the Himalayas. After visiting there, you will come back to Gokyo Valley and have a breakfast. Then you will go back to Gokyo.
Day 16 : Gokyo to Marlung (7-8 hours trek) via Renjo La Pass (5360 m)
Today your trail will go down at first and turn to Dudh Pokhari. From there, it takes almost 3 hours to reach at Renjo La Pass which offers the majestic views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cholatese and so on. Then you will descend to Marlung by passing Lumde. The place Marlung lies in the eastern part of Bhote Kosi River.
Day 17 : Marlung to Namche Bazzar ( 5-6 hours trek)
Your trail will go to Taranga along by crossing the Bhote Kosi River along the traditional route used by the Tibetan traders. Then you will continue your trekking to Namache Bazaar. On the way, you encounter many Gompas.
Day 18 : Namche to Lukla (7 hours trek)
Your trail will continue to Lukla passing Phakding following the previous route.
Day 19 : Fly back to Kathmandu (35 min)
You will have a flight early in the morning to Kathmandu following the previous airways. After your arrival in Kathmandu, You will be transferred to the hotel.
Day 20 : Final departure from Kathmandu.
Today your trip in Nepal comes to an end and the representative from Rising Adventure will take you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight.
