Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by the representative from Rising Adventure at the arrival gate and transferred to hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu Sightseeing
This is your day for sightseeing. So, you are picked up by your tour guide from your hotel. Basically, Kathmandu Sightseeing involves the four UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu. They are Kathmandu Darbar Square, Swayabhunath Stupa, Boudhnath Stupa and the Pashupatinath Temple. However, we also organize other sightseeing tours nearby Kathmandu in accordance with your desires like Patan and Bhaktapur Darbar Squares those too are enlisted in UNESCO.
In the evening, Rising Adventure will discuss about your trip and introduce our trekking guide as well as other members.
Day 03 : Drive to Bhandar
Today you will have almost 7 hours drive to Jiri which lies in the north-east of Kathmandu. Then the continuation of your trekking will take you to Bhandar, a trekking starting point. On the way to Bhandar, you will enjoy the majestic views of mountains.
Day 04 : Trek to Sete
Your trail will go down to Baranda through the forests. Then you will reach at Kenja by passing the Surma Khola and Likhu Khola Valley. Finally, you will reach at Sete by ascending to Chimbu.
Day 05 : Trek to Junbesi
Today your trail will go up to Lamjura La through the forests of magnolia, rhododendron, maple, etc. Lamjura La Pass is located in between the Jiri and Namche Bazaar which offers the wonderful views of mountains. Then you will reach at Junbesi by passing Tragdobuk.
Day 06 : Trek to Nunthala
Your trail will ascend to Salung and descend to Ringmo Khola. On the way, you will enjoy the beautiful views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and so on. Then you will reach at Nunthala by passing the Ringmo, Trakshindo La Pass and Trashingdo.
Day 07 : Trek to Bupsa
You will reach at Khumbu along the Dudh Koshi River. Then you will go to Churkha by crossing the bridge and the continuation of your trail will take you to Bupsa by crossing the Suspension bridge.
Day 08 : Trek to Surkhe
Your trail will take you to Surke by passing the Kahrte village and Kari La Pass.
Day 09 : Trek to Phakding
You will reach at Phakding by passing Chaurikharka and Chhiplung.
Day 10 : Trek to Namche Bazaar
On this day, you will continue your trek for almost 7 hour until you won’t reach to the Namche Bazaar which is taken as the Gateway to Everest. While trekking, you will go on through the breathtaking views such as blue pine forests, firs, junipers and other beautiful sceneries.
Day 11 : Rest at Namche Bazaar
You will spend a day here in order to have rest as well as acclimatize. You can pass your day by exploring the local culture of Namche. You can also visit the museum which describes the traditional customs of the Sherpa and you have an opportunity to visit the highest hotel of the world names as Everest View Hotel.
Day 12 : Trek to Tengboche
Your trek will go ahead from Namche to Tengboche along the magnificent views of the varieties of mountains. After reaching in Tengboche, you can observe the lifestyle of local Sherpas as well as their monastries.
Day 13 : Trek to Dingboche
From Tengboche, you will trek down to Dibuche, crossing the exciting suspension bridge on the Imja River. After then, you will climb to Pangboche amongst thousands of mani stones and your trek will take you to the Dingbuche through its astonishing views of Lhotse, Island Peak and Ama Dablam.
Day 14 : Acclimatization day at Dingboche
Today you are going to spend a whole day in Dingboche. However, you can go for a hike to Chhukung or to Nagarjun hill. If you want to go to Chhukung, it takes almost 4 hours to reach there. From there you will see the stunning views of snow capped peaks as well as glacier. After spending sometime there, you will come back to Dingboche following the previous route.On the other hand, again it takes almost 4 hours to go to Nagarjun Hill.
Day 15 : Trek to Lobuche
On this day, you will go up to the Khumbu Glacier and pass the row of stone monument that was built in memory of six Sherpas who died in an avalanche at Lobuche. The place Lobuche has only few huts at the foot of Himalayan giants.
Day 16 : Trek to Gorakshep and have a hike to Everest Base Camp (5340 m)
This is the difficult and the most memorable day of this trek. You will walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp at 5340 meter without using the mountaineering equipments. From the Base Camp, you can have the spectacular scenic beauty of the Khumbu Icefall. After then you will return to Gorakh Shep for the night.
Day 17 : Hike to Kalapatthar (5555 m) and Trek to Pheriche
This is the toughest day of the trekking. Your trail will begin early in the morning for going to a hike to Kalapathar. So, you will ascend steeply to Kalapathar. After reaching there you will enjoy the incredible views o f the towering Himalayas such as the Mt. Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse and so on. You will descend to Gorak Shep following the same route. After having a breakfast there, your trail will continue to Pheriche.
Day 18 : Trek back to Namche Bazaar
On this day, after having breakfast, you will descend to Pangboche to Dibuche to Tengboche, where you will enjoy the lunch. Afterwards, your trek will be continued to Namche Bazaar.
Day 19 : Trek to Lukla
Your trail will continue to Lukla passing Phakding.
Day 20 : Flight to Kathmandu (35 min)
In the early morning, you will have almost 35 minutes flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. While in the plane, you can have the great views of the mountains and river valleys. After your arrival in Kathmandu, You will be transferred to the hotel.
Day 21 : Final Departure
Today your trip in Nepal comes to an end and the representative from Rising Adventure will take you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight.
