Nepal's first direct flight to Japan tonight

This is the first time in the history, Nepal Airlines Corporation has launched the direct Nepali aircraft (A330-200) for flying to Osaka of Japan tonight.

According to Deputy General Manager of the corporation, Mr. Ganesh Bahadur Chand, the flight is going to take off tomorrow after midnight of today at 2;30 am on Thursday. It takes approximately 6.5 hours for landing at Osaka and almost 90 passengers are going to fly on it.

The formal farewell program is going to be held at airport at midnight and another function will be organized after coming back to Kathmandu in accordance with the G.M.

In the history of corporation, the flight was reached to Osaka already via Shanghai of China, not directly.

The three Japan flights in a week are planned to fly to Japan directly by the Corporation.
