The Everest base camp luxury lodge trek is designed especially for fulfilling the demand of those visitors who want to spend their time in the Everest zone for enjoying the views in a relaxable as well as luxurious way. So, this trek can be defined as the most luxury Everest base camp trek too.
Lukla is the EBC trekking starting point. The first-day trekking ends at Phakding. The trail enters the Sagarmatha National Park at Jorsale checkpoint just beyond the Monjo Gaun. Then the trek goes up along the Dudh Koshi River and crosses the suspension bridge. Then the trek stops at Namche Bazaar after almost 3 hours of walking.
Namche is the best place for acclimatization. It is like a small city in the Khumbu region full of facilities. It is a kind of rest day so, enrolling the visiting activities around Namche Bazaar and its nearby Sherpa Villages such as Thame and Khumjung are beautiful. The Syangboche village is another option to be acclimatized by walking.
On the next day, the trail follows the Valley of Imja River with the beautiful views of Thamserku, Ama Dablam and the other mountain ranges of Everest and Lhotse. The continuation of trekking goes up steeply and ends at Tengboche. The popular Tengboche Monastery is located there. It is the largest Tibetan monastery of Khumbu area.
The trek again follows the Imja River and climbs up. It reaches Pangboche village. Then it goes up again till to Dingboche and stops there for two nights including another acclimatization day. A hike to Chhukung village is the best plan to be well acclimatized. It is a place to go to Island peak base camp. So, many climbers can be seen there.
After being properly acclimatized, the Everest luxury lodge trek continues again towards the Lobuche Village which is situated on the lap of lateral moraine of Khumbu icefalls.
This is the final destination of Everest base camp luxury trek i.e. Gorak Shep where few tea houses can be found due to the higher elevation. After reaching there, the few hours of the hike takes you at the base camp of Mt. Everest. It offers the beautiful mountain sceneries, but the Mt. Everest views cannot be seen properly.
After spending a night at Gorakshep, early in the morning, you have a hike again to the most renowned viewpoint i.e. Katlapatthar. To reach there, you need to walk up very cautiously as it is very tricky and risky to find the way.
Once you reach the top of Kalapatthar, you can see the gorgeous Mt. Everest giants and the golden sunrise view over the mountains. Then the trek goes down to Gorakshep. After having breakfast, it descends by retracing to Lukla.
If you want to have the Everest base camp trek is a budget way, Rising Adventure customizes it too.
