Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) can happen to anyone though, it is a lower altitude trek. But our itinerary is prepared by Experts concerning mountain sickness. Our itinerary allows adapting the thin air of the mountain continuously. So, you will not feel any kind of unfavorable effects of AMS, but you may feel a bit of headache or sniffle.
For getting used to the thin air of newer places, you must trek slowly and steadily. One thing you need to remember is that you must make your body hydrated by drinking lots of water, tea, soup, etc and it helps to get rid of altitude sickness.

Best Time To Travel
Poon Hill is trekking in the lower elevation of the Annapurna region in Nepal. So, every day is preferable for this trekking.
However, March, April, May, September, October, and November are the best time to travel in Nepal, especially in the Himalayan region. During these months, the weather remains dry and sunny. The days are warm and the nights are chill. So, the mountain looks very clear even from a far distance.
Besides, September and October are the Nepalese greatest festive seasons like Teej, Dashain, and Tihar. These festivals are celebrated by Hindus. They celebrate by dancing, singing, merry-making, and eating delicious foods.
If you are okay with some discomforts, the Poon Hill trek is possible even in off-seasons like in winter and monsoons. But these times are crowded free totally.
Drinking Water
Every trekker must know that drinking sufficient water helps to keep the body hydrated and reduces the risks of AMS. Having almost 4 liters of water including all kinds of fluids per day while trekking is enough for one.
But one must be concerned about clean and safe drinking water. Besides, you can get many safest drinking water places like filtered and boiled. But you need to pay an extra amount for getting such water, especially at the higher elevation. So, Rising Adventure highly recommends using reusable bottles with the water purification tablets like iodine, and chlorine. or others in order to purify the water. That would be the safest and the cheapest way as well.
Wi-Fi and Internet
Regarding internet connectivity, it is accessible in the Annapurna sectors of Nepal. You can get Wi-Fi in every place except somewhere. But it may not work properly in high altitude areas and you need to pay an extra amount too for using it, especially in the higher elevation.
So, Rising Adventure strongly recommends using the Nepalese SIM card and purchasing the data instead of loading wi-fi. It would be cheaper as well as accessible easily. And our company will provide you the SIM card at free of cost for your entire trip.
