Normally, Annapurna Base Camp Trekking begins from Nayapul. It is located nearby the beautiful lake city Pokhara. From there, it takes almost an hour to reach at Nayapul on the private car.

ABC Trek reaches at Gandruk Village by passing the Tikhedhunga. So, this trail can also be called Annapurna Base Camp Trek via Gandruk. It is a beautiful place mainly populated by the Gurung people. This village is popular for its distinctive culture and costume. The warm welcome and hospitality of locals are praiseworthy. Not only the foreign tourist but, the domestic tourist also loves to visit this place. The Old Gurung Museum is situated there.

The continuation of your trekking leads at the Base Camp of Mt. Annapurna by passing lots of culturally rich villages. It is the final destination of the trekkers. This is truly memorable as the views are very astonishing and have an incredible sense of scale as you stand at the base of the 10th tallest mountains in the world.

Annapurna Sanctuary trek is also popular as it passes the different kinds of scenery from rhododendron and bamboo forest to the rocky and alpine chronologically.

Almost all the way to the Base Camp, you are surrounded by the wonderful Himalayan ranges including Annapurna I, II, Fishtail and so on. But you get the very closer and the most enchanting views of Annapurna giants, Machhapuchchhre, Mt. Dhaulagiri and other neighboring mountains.

Jhinu Danda adds the further attraction where you can have the natural hot bathe. The lush rhododendron forest, terraced farm lands and the cascading waterfalls provide the matchmaking complimentary to the Annapurna Region Trek.

  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

    After your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport, our representative will pick you up from the arrival gate and transfer you to the hotel.

  • Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

    This is your day for sightseeing. So, you are picked up by your tour guide from your hotel. Basically, Kathmandu Sightseeing involves the four UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu. They are Kathmandu Darbar Square, Swayabhunath Stupa, Boudhnath Stupa and the Pashupatinath Temple. However, we also organize other sightseeing tours nearby Kathmandu in accordance with your desires like Patan and Bhaktapur Darbar Squares those too are enlisted in UNESCO.

    At last, we involve in trekking preparation and introduce you to our trekking guide.

  • Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara

    This is the first day of your trekking. Today, the trail takes at one of the beautiful ethnic places of Annapurna region. It is Ghandruk Village. After having breakfast, almost half hour of private driving takes you to Nayapul. From there, your trekking will start. This is the easy walking. You need to trek about to 2 hours. It’s a clear day trekking so, you can see the wonderful views of Mt. Annapurna and other towering peaks. Your walking takes you at Birethati at first, then to Khimche and finally at your destination i.e. Ghandruk. This the ethnic village especially inhabited by Gurung people. Their warm hospitability is awesome. Their dresses are beautiful. Exploring Gurung museum and this community is worthy.

  • Day 04: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk

  • Day 05: Trek to Chhomrong to Sinuwa

    This is the 5-6 hours of trekking. The trail goes a bit ascending in the beginning and then descending to Komrong Khola. Again the upwards trail starts up to Chhomrong where you can have a lunch in front of the Himalayan scenarios. Then the continuation of your downhill and uphill trekking takes you at Sinuwa. If the weather favors, the vivid mountain views can be seen.

  • Day 06: Trek to Bamboo to Dovan to Deurali

    This is a little bit tiring walk as the trail is uphill almost all the way. The river views, green vegetation and the mountain scenes make your trekking fantastic. The continuous of ascending takes you at Deaurali, the final destination of today’s trekking.

  • Day 07: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp Trek via Fishtail Base Camp

    Today, you are going to meet your final destination as you are going to ABC. The ascending occurs all the way to Machchhapuchchhre Base Camp. From this camp, you can see the astonishing views of Machchhapuchchhre Himal, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Himchuli and other snowcapped peaks. It is so mesmerizing while entering towards Annapurna Sanctuary area because the trail becomes wider and wider and the forest disappears gradually. From the Annapurna Base Camp, the views are seen more clearly and nearly. The Annapurna ranges, Fishtail and other peaks can be seen vividly.

  • Day 08: Trek back to Bamboo

    This is a downhill trekking all the way to Bamboo. After seeing the early morning views of Himalayan ranges, the trail retraces the previous path to MBC to Deurali to Dovan and to Bamboo.

  • Day 09: Trek to Jhinu Danda

    Today, you will follow the same route until Chhomrong and your trail will go down very steeply to the place called Jhinu. From there, you will have almost 40 minutes hike to Hot Spring where you can have a bathe in natural hot springs.

  • Day 10: Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara

    From Jhinu hot springs you will go to Saulibazaar and to Birethati and then to Nayapul following the same route. After an hour drive you will be in Pokhara.

  • Day 11: Drive to Kathmandu

    The leaving time of Tourist Bus in Pokhara is at 7:30 am. So, your trekking guide will pick up you to Tourist Bus Park at 7:00 am. Then you will come back to Kathmandu following the same route and time.
