Although Tamang Heritage Trekking in Nepal is considered a cultural heritage trek, the trekkers have an opportunity to see the breathtaking sceneries of Himalayan ranges such as Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and the other Himalayas as well as the beautiful Gurung Village (Ethnic Tribe).

After spending a day for sightseeing in the UNESCO World’s Heritage Sites in Kathmandu, the Tamang Heritage Trek Langtang begins from the place known as Syaprubesi. It takes almost 6 hours to drive from Kathmandu. Then the trek starts and ascends towards your destination.

Tamang Heritage Trek Nepal is a relatively less trafficked trekking area just beyond the Langtang Valley Trekking Route. It goes along the Langtang National Park in the beginning through the forests of rhododendron, bamboo, and so on. You can also enjoy the movements of wild animals like Musk Deer, Rhesus Monkey, Wild Boar, etc.

On the way, you visit the wonderful villages like Gatlang, Tatopani, Thuman, and Briddim that are inhabited by the Tamang tribes. As a result, you get an opportunity to be much closer to them, their lifestyle, festivals, and traditional architecture, and so on. More interestingly, the trekkers get the warm hospitality of the Tamang people.

Tamang people follow the traditional and Tibetan Buddhist rituals for generations. The costumes and rituals are colorful. They are innocent and nature-loving people, who have a complete sense of ethnic unity.

Likewise, the ancient monasteries and the structure of houses are more incredible than you may not ever be imagined before. You can also buy the original traditional handcraft items at a cheaper price than in Kathmandu.

Apart from it, most of the villages and the paths offer the closer sceneries of Langtang ranges, Ganesh Himal, Mt. Manaslu, and other beautiful peaks. Furthermore, having a natural hot spring bathe adds extraordinary enjoyment on the trekking to Tamang Heritage.

Mid-September to Mid-December and March to May are the Tamang Heritage Trekking Best Seasons. Tamang Heritage Trek solo is also an awesome activity.

It offers lodge-based and homestays accommodation. The trekkers are heartily welcomed by Tamangs. Their hospitality is speechless. It is not the longer trekking trail. Tamang Heritage Trek itinerary is only five days. Within a limited period, the trekkers can learn about the Tamang Tribe.
