While doing Mountain Flight to see Everest, the mountains come closer to closing. First of all, you will see the panoramic beauty of Shisha Pangma Mountain at 8,013m. Then, there appears the heavy snow-covered Dorje Lakpa Mountain at 6,966m immediately at the right side of Shisha Panga and beside Dorje Lakpa. • Generally, most of the Everest mountain flights take off from Kathmandu. Mainly the flight time is around 6 am in the morning time to beat the cloud cover. The airplane will all fly from the Tribhuvan International airport which is situated on the east side of the valley. Thus, make sure to arrive before the flight and try not to let your bag for your flight get crushed by the big backpacks loaded into the scanner. And the flight will last long for 45 minutes.

    • The question might hit you as all the planes look similar. But don’t worry the ticket and boarding pass of the plane will help you to find your plane easily. When we were called, we all piled onto an airport transfer bus and headed out to our plane. If the hostesses are also happy to tell you the names of the mountains and of course, point out Everest!

    • If you're wondering if a helicopter can land on the top of Mount Everest then, the answer is yes. It has been done once before – but only once. Back on May 14, 2005, at 07:08 NPT in the early morning the (01:23 UTC), Delsalle set the world record for the highest altitude landing of a helicopter when his Eurocopter AS350 Squirrel touched down on the summit of Mount Everest.

    • Well, flying a drone over Mount Everest is allowed. However, to fly over it needs a drone of a good brand, a series of permits, and an excellent team with the required knowledge about all legal matters. The list of special permits required for flying a drone in the Everest trek is TIMS (Tourist Information Management System) and Sagarmatha National park permit.

    • We all know, that Mount Everest is the world’s tallest peak. Thus, at the top of the peak, the level of oxygen is very low compared to the base camp. However, It is just possible for a man to reach the summit of Everest without supplementary oxygen, this can only be done at the expense of extreme hyperventilation and respiratory alkalosis, and even then the arterial PO2 is less than 30 Torr.

    • If you are curious whether normal people can climb Everest, then the answer is yes. However, to the summit, the peak one must have to be incredibly physically fit and have previous experience at high altitudes. Thus, think twice before making a plan for the summit of the peak.
