Mount Kanchenjunga stands for the second and the third highest mountains in Nepal and in the world respectively. Besides, it is the first tallest mountain of India as it lies in the borders between Nepal and India. It is situated at an elevation of 8586m above the sea level. It has five peaks. Among them, two are totally inside Nepal and others are at border. It was first climbed on 25 May 1955.

The best time to trekking in Kanchenjunga area is May to June and September to October. We strictly recommend you not to join this trail during monsoon as the routes are very slippery and roads remain blocked due to the heavy rain fall.
